November 4, 2020 12:30 pm – DOH travel guidance

Yesterday, the New York State Department of Health released interim guidance for quarantine restrictions for travelers arriving to New York after traveling out of state.  View the guidance here

This guidance is in response to new guidelines that go into effect today, November 4, allowing out-of-state travelers to New York to “test out” of the mandatory 14-day quarantine.   All travelers entering New York from a state that is not a contiguous state, or from a CDC Level 2 or 3 Travel Health Notice country, shall quarantine for a period of 14 days, consistent with Department of Health regulations for quarantine, unless they meet new testing protocol outlined in the updated rules.
